About Us

From a single component to a complex assembly, MicroTek provides custom cable and wire configurations for equipment used in the medical, scientific and security industries around the world. In addition, we offer complete electro-mechanical assemblies that are efficient, cost-effective, cutting-edge and adhere to the highest standards.

We provide a safe, secure, and accessible work environment, with a focus on employing people with disabilities, supporting these individuals to be active and productive members of a dynamic and diverse manufacturing team. We have a corporate commitment to hiring individuals who are often overlooked for employment opportunities, and we work with each person to ensure that s/he is given the training and support needed to perform our cable and assembly work to the standards our customers require.  The work we do allows us to fulfill our charitable mission, providing meaningful work, socialization, skill attainment opportunities and financial stability for all. MicroTek is more than a quality provider — we are your partner in building a more inclusive society.

Founded in 1983, our mission was and continues to be about connecting people as well as electronic parts. From our humble beginnings MicroTek has grown steadily, continually adding customers and new projects that increased employment. Along the way, we acquired tooling, industry knowledge and marketing savvy and began growing – all while fostering a corporate culture that includes and values diversity and differences. As a not-for-profit, our goal has never been the bottom-line, rather, we search for the right partners and opportunities that help us expand our mission. More than thirty years later that is still true:  We have shown that a successful company can support a diverse and integrated workforce. At MicroTek, our priorities and guiding principles help all employees perform their jobs with higher quality, greater efficiency, and pride of ownership. MicroTek’s customers share in the rewards.
